Tara began Mountain Lily Studios as a passion project that grew into a full fledged firm. She recognized that designing for people, place, and planet required a unique approach—one that combined innovative design with wellness-focused initiatives to create memorable, human-centric spaces that fostered well-being and social interaction.
As principal and CEO of Mountain Lily Studios, Tara balances big picture creativity and bold ideas with the technical skills and project management chops to bring projects to life. A self-proclaimed lover of building codes with a penchant for unique concepts, she creates spaces that speak to her client’s brand and their people.
Since beginning Mountain Lily, Tara has publicly spoken at multiple events on the impacts of design on human health and well-being, and the need for corporate responsibility for wellness in our workplaces. She is WELL AP certified, an associate member of AIA, a member of ULI Colorado, and is currently pursuing her M.Arch degree in order to better serve her community and clients.
Additionally she was accepted to, and graduated from ULI Colorado’s Real Estate and Diversity Initiative in 2024, and was nominated for CREW Denver’s Women of Influence award in 2024.
As a certified 200-hour Iyengar yoga instructor, with certifications in Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard) Yoga, Tara understood that how we connect with one another and ourselves, is about more than space. Through Mountain Lily Studios’ wellness programs, Tara and her team provide yoga, workshops, and retreats to local companies and the community.
